LifeHikes Foundation for Youth & Educators:
Courage and Confidence! Helping youth develop their voice and improve their communication skills leads to students who have a voice! The outcomes are positive and life changing. The work we do with underserved students is most rewarding and a game changer for each student. We partnered with Principal Akbar Cook in Newark, NJ to run a semester long training with high school juniors and seniors. This partnership continues with their educators, providing Senior Leadership Training, as well as LifeHikes for Teachers.
KIPP New Jersey
LifeHikes Foundation partnered with the KIPP New Jersey at the “Be the Change” Conference 2023 held at Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hall (Rutgers Newark, NJ Campus). KIPP Young Alumni participated in a communications and networking workshop focused on Building Professional Networks.
Detroit High School Students
In March of 2023, the LHF approached leaders in the city of Detroit to discuss how they could best help the city. With an overwhelming response to utilize this training for the youth of the city, the LHF set up its inaugural “LifeHikes for High School Students”, an immersive 3-day training program. Feliciano School of Business
The LifeHikes Foundation partners with the Feliciano School of Business at Montclair State University once a semester to provide their students and professors an off-campus field trip experience at the LifeHikes Foundation global headquarters for an immersive 2 ½ hour in-person training.
New Jersey Development Corporation
Our partnership with New Jersey Development Corporation and the Paterson, NJ School District provides Full Service Community School Student Ambassadors the opportunity to participate in LifeHikes For High School Students. During the pandemic, this was a 6 week – 60 minute weekly training. Now, the program is held as a full day immersive growth experience for these youth.

In March 2023, 1st Lady of Detroit Michigan, Dr. Sonia Hassan Duggan, invited the LifeHikes Foundation to present a morning of training and networking to leaders of the city of Detroit. Business, Foundation and Non-Profit, and Community leaders gathered experience the training first-hand to understand how LifeHikes Foundation could best help their city. This training and their decisions brought about the inaugural “LifeHikes for HighSchool Students”.
Local Nonprofits & Agencies
LifeHikes Foundation partners with LifeHikes throughout the year to offer no-cost in person training programs. Annually we run an #InvestInAll ‘day of training’ where several local nonprofits and agencies have the opportunity to have training at their location or the LifeHikes New Jersey Headquarters.
Save The Children

Nonprofit Professionals & Volunteer Leaders
LifeHikes Foundation partners with LifeHikes throughout the year to offer no-cost virtual interactive live training programs(VILTS). Various areas of communication skills, leadership and sales training are offered to nonprofit professionals and volunteer leadership.
Small Business Leaders
Semi-annually, the LifeHikes Foundation hosts and evening of communications training, as well as networking for local nonprofits, agencies, and small business owners. We have many local event attendees, as well as many who fly in from around the country for an evening of interactive training.
LifeHikes Foundation for Women
Equality and Empowerment! Empowering women with the confidence and skills to level the playing field globally. Supporting women, and those who identify as women, by equipping them with techniques specific to them (especially for those in particularly marginalized communities) to foster confidence and change the narrative.

LifeHikes Foundation in Africa
LifeHikes Foundation is deepening its commitment to Africa by investing in people, partnerships, and a permanent presence on the continent. Our goal is to expand access to transformative communication, empowerment, and leadership development—equipping individuals with the confidence and practical skills to advocate for themselves, strengthen their organizations, and create lasting impact in their communities.
Our work in Africa began with in-person programming in Johannesburg, South Africa, and continued through engagements with leaders and organizations across the continent, including training in Kigali, Rwanda. Today, we are building on that foundation with a growing presence in Nairobi, Kenya, creating a hub from which we can serve youth, professionals, nonprofit organizations, NGOs, and businesses throughout Africa.
Building a Home in Nairobi
In 2026, LifeHikes Foundation established its Nairobi presence through a partnership with ALX, creating a local base for training, relationship-building, and program delivery. We are also investing directly in African coaching talent, welcoming our first locally based LifeHikes coaches and dedicated partnership leadership.
This local presence represents an important evolution in our work. Rather than simply bringing training to Africa, we are building the capacity to deliver our mission from within Africa—developing local coaches, building relationships with African organizations, and creating learning experiences informed by the people and communities we serve.
Developing Africa’s Next Generation of Leaders
A cornerstone of this expansion is our work with the Mastercard Foundation Associates Program, in collaboration with Mastercard Foundation and LEAP Africa. LifeHikes Foundation delivers an immersive, year-long learning journey designed to strengthen the professional and leadership capabilities of emerging African talent.
Talent Corps Ambassadors participate in weekly development experiences focused on durable skills, practical life skills, and leadership mindsets. Through highly interactive coaching, participants practice communication, personal branding, productivity, influence, leadership, and other skills they can immediately apply within their organizations, careers, and communities.
Our role goes beyond teaching skills. We are helping young professionals build the confidence, self-awareness, and capabilities to contribute meaningfully today while preparing to become the leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers of tomorrow.
Growing Through Partnership
Our vision for Africa extends beyond any single program. LifeHikes Foundation is building relationships with mission-aligned nonprofits, NGOs, foundations, and businesses that recognize people development as a catalyst for organizational and social impact.
Through Learning Journeys, leadership development, communication training, coaching, and customized programming, we seek to help African organizations invest continuously in their people. These partnerships also help strengthen our ability to extend development opportunities to communities and individuals who have historically had less access to world-class professional training.
As our Nairobi team and partnerships grow, so does our capacity to advance the LifeHikes Foundation mission across the continent: helping people discover their voice, build confidence, develop as leaders, and use those capabilities to strengthen the communities around them.
Our mission is to support Africa becoming the standard for learning and development in the world. We are building with Africans, investing in local talent, lasting partnerships, and the people who will shape its future.
